The 116-room palace, the construction of which began in 1685 and was completed 99 years later by Çıldır Governor İshak Pasha and his son Mehmet Pasha, is built on an area of ​​7.600 m2 and is the first palace in the world to have a central heating, water and sewerage system.

Diyadin Thermal Springs, which is 60 km away from the city center of Ağrı, consists of Yılanlı, Davut and Köprü thermal springs spread over a wide area.
